Three trades, one firm
Plumbing, gasfitting and drainlaying used to travel together and increasingly do not. We have held all three since 1964: a Craftsman Plumber who is also qualified in gasfitting and drainlaying, plus licensed gasfitters and certifying drainlayers on staff.
It matters more often than you would think. A hot water problem can turn out to be a gas problem. A slow shower can turn out to be a drainage problem. A bathroom renovation is all three at once. When one firm holds the lot, nobody is standing in your hallway explaining that the next part is somebody else's job.
How a job usually runs
- You ring, or send an enquiry. Our own office picks it up.
- We quote, free, either from photos you send or from a site visit for anything bigger.
- We book it in and tell you honestly when we can get there.
- The work gets done by one of our own plumbers, and it is charged with a minimum of half an hour of labour.
- You pay by Eftpos or internet banking. SuperGold gets 10% off labour.
What we do not do
New roofing, and 24 hour emergency callouts for people who are not already our customers. Both of those are on this page on purpose. It is better to rule ourselves out here than to waste your phone call.
