Privacy policy

This policy covers the information you give us through this website and what we do with it. It is written to be read rather than to be impressive.

What we collect

If you send an enquiry we collect what you type in: your name, email address, phone number, the address or area of the job, what the job is and when you need it. If you only complete part of the form, we still receive what you had entered up to that point, so that we can follow up an enquiry that was interrupted.

We also collect standard website analytics through Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager, including pages viewed, roughly where in the country you are, and whether you arrived from a search or an advertisement. That data is aggregated and is not used to identify you personally.

What we use it for

Answering your enquiry, quoting your job, and doing the work. We also use it to contact you about that job. We do not sell your information, and we do not send marketing email to people who have simply asked for a quote.

Who else sees it

Enquiries are stored with our website host and emailed to our office. We use Cloudflare for hosting and bot protection, and Resend to deliver the notification email. Those providers process the information on our behalf and do not use it for their own purposes.

How long we keep it

Website enquiry records are held for 90 days. Once a job goes ahead, the customer and job records are kept in our normal business records for as long as we are required to keep them.

Cookies

This site uses cookies for analytics and, if you arrived from an advertisement, to record that the enquiry came from it. You can block cookies in your browser settings; the website will still work.

Your information

You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email office@mtcarrollltd.co.nz or ring 06 843 5120 and we will sort it out.
