Areas we cover
Plumbers across Hawke's Bay
We are Napier based and most of our work is within twenty minutes of the workshop on Cadbury Road. We cover the Bay, and we will tell you honestly if a job is further than makes sense for you.
- Master Plumbers member
- Free quotes, same day reply
- Craftsman Plumber, gasfitter and drainlayer
- Napier family firm since 1964
And everywhere in between
We also work regularly in Bay View, Ahuriri, Westshore, Clive, Meeanee, Puketapu, Eskdale, Te Awanga, Haumoana and Central Hawke's Bay.
If you are outside those and not sure, ring and ask. Sometimes the answer is that someone closer to you will do you a better job on a small repair, and we would rather say that than take a booking and turn up in a fortnight.
What being Napier based actually means for you
The workshop is on Cadbury Road in Onekawa, which puts most of Napier inside ten minutes and Hastings about twenty. In practice that shapes how we schedule. Work close to home can often be fitted in the same day when something has just gone wrong. Work further out gets planned into a run so that a van is already heading that way, which is better for you than an emergency dash and a travel charge.
It also means we are honest about our limits. We work Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm. We are not a 24 hour callout service, and after-hours work is limited to customers we already look after. If you need someone at midnight, we are not that firm, and we would rather you knew that now.
The Bay is not one plumbing market
Hawke's Bay changes a lot in twenty minutes of driving. Napier is flat, coastal and full of post-1931 housing with clay drainage and salt air on every external fitting. Hastings runs out into orchards and lifestyle blocks where the water comes from a tank or a bore and the drainage runs are long. Havelock North has an old village core and hill properties with their own pressure and access problems. Taradale and Greenmeadows are mostly 1960s to 1980s family housing now on their second hot water cylinder.
Sixty-two years of working across all of it is the reason we can usually tell you what is likely to be wrong before we have left the yard.
Not sure if we come to you?
Ring and ask. It takes thirty seconds and we will give you a straight answer either way.
