What it is actually like to deal with us

You ring, and someone in our own office answers. They know where the vans are and what the week looks like, so you get a straight answer about when someone can come, not a promise made by a call centre. If we cannot get to you quickly, we will say so.

On site, the plumber who turns up is one of five who work for us permanently, not a contractor we found this morning. We hold Craftsman Plumber registration in the firm, along with gasfitting and drainlaying, which matters on the jobs that cross over between the three.

Bathroom renovations

A bathroom is where plumbing gets expensive if it is done in the wrong order. We do the rough-in, work in with the tiler and the builder, and come back for the fit off. If you are still deciding on fittings, ask us first: some of the cheaper mixers are a guaranteed callback in three years, and we would rather tell you that now than charge you to fix it later.
